Commented Unassigned: can't open Excel template [25357]

I have downloaded the program on two different laptops. The download seems to work fine but upon opening the Excel Template, it doesn't allow me to open, the screen goes to white and then the program is locked and I have to do a restart to get it to close.

If I'm reading your note correctly, you were able to download the setup program for the NodeXL Excel Template, and you were able to run the setup program without any error messages popping up, but when you attempted to open the NodeXL Excel Template from the Windows Start menu (or Start screen), you ran into trouble.

Can you please tell me a couple of things:

1) Which version of the NodeXL Excel Template did you install? You can tell by looking at the name of the Zip file you downloaded. Was it named NodeXL_1.0.1.251.zip?

2) When you say "the screen goes to white," do you mean that a window opened (which should have been an Excel window) but nothing except white appeared in the window?

3) Were there any error messages accompanying the white window?
