Consider a network of Students and Teachers:
Vertex 1, Vertex 2, Relationship type, Vertex 1 attribute(s), Vertex 2 attribute(s)
Bob, Sally, Teaches, Teacher, Student
Alice, Edward, Teaches, Teacher, Student
