Hi,
I have tried three times to run the Facebook importer on a Fan page to get it's bimodal graph with status updates, wall posts, likes and comments.
This is the fan page I tried to use: https://www.facebook.com/Representative.Martha.Roby
At first I tried to pull a year of data, and then I tried just a month. No such luck. Attached is the error message that would often come up.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or is there something wrong with the API or with NodeXL.
Best,
Jen

Jen:
I don't know much about the Facebook importer (it's actually a separate "plug-in" that came from a different group), but the error message you posted, "FacebookAPIException: Service temporarily unavailable," implies that 1) it's a temporary problem with the Facebook servers; and 2) it's not a NodeXL problem; and 3) it's definitely not something that you're doing wrong.
I would suggest waiting a while and trying again. If the problem persists, you might post a question at http://socialnetimporter.codeplex.com/discussions, which is the home of this particular plug-in and where someone might know more about the problem.
