Hello,

the error message says that the library (Smrf.NodeXL.Uril.dll) is being used by another process. Is another installation of NodeXL running at the same time? Is NodeXL somehow running in the background?

I suggest to restart your PC and try installing NodeXL again.

I am working on Excel2016 and NodeXL Basic,
and in import option the dialog box does not allow to select a folder for third party, (it's dark gray, like not active)
I am trying to use the social network importer, to get data from facebook,
is this not possible anymore?

That's a good thought, but unfortunately, turning it off and back on again does not work in this case. I don't see anything running that might be using that library.

I did have NodeXL Basic installed a few days ago, but I removed it (and the leftover folder) before installing NodeXL Pro.

Hello,

can you please empty this folder 'C:\Users\Kelly\AppData\Local\Temp\Deployment' and try running the setup as administrator (right click -> Run as Administrator...)?

hi,

I am using NodeXL Pro, and i have a trouble exporting data to a GraphML file, after importing data from Facebook fan page. After i click export to GraphML file, it appears to me "loading" sign, and i wait so much time and nothing happens. and the program doesn't respond.
please i need a solution to this problem as soon as possible.

I am having trouble downloading NodeXL for Microsoft Excel. I continue to get to the step where it says, "the latest version of this customization is already installed". However, I can't find it anywhere on my computer or when I search for it through the search bar on Windows 10. It also does not show up as an additional tab in Excel.

Does anyone know why I am having trouble downloading this add-in and why I can't find any reference to it in my files?

Thanks for any help you can provide as I can;t continue with my assignment until I download this.

Hello,

do you see "NodeXL Excel Template" in "Programs and Features" in Control Panel? If yes it means that NodeXL is already installed on your PC. To open it it Windows 10 follow these steps:
  1. Open Start menu
  2. All Apps
  3. Go to the letter "N"
  4. There you should see "NodeXL Excel Template"
If you don't see "NodeXL Excel Template" in "Programs and Features" in Control Panel, it means that NodeXL is not installed, but a previous version was installed and it was not completely uninstalled. To completely uninstall it please have a look at this post https://nodexl.codeplex.com/discussions/646168

Greetings! Happy New Year! I bought the pro version last month. I was able to install it, but it would not work properly. I then uninstalled it and tried to reinstall. But it won't install. My computer shows different error messages at different times. I then installed the free version. That one is working. Need help installing my pro-version. Thank you.

I am a NodeXL Pro user. Today I tired to open the template, but I did not manage to do so because of the _"Update Office Customization"_ error. I decided to uninstall NodeXL and install the Pro version (downloaded from https://www.nodexlgraphgallery.org/Pages/Registration.aspx) again. I did clean the "C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0" folder before installing the Pro version again. However, now I cannot install NodeXL Pro because of the "_Exception reading manifest from_ http://www.nodexlgraphgallery.org/NodeXLSetup/Smrf.NodeXL.ExcelTemplate.vsto" error. Error details are the following:

I've been using NodeXL Basic for weeks now and all of a sudden it won't let me open any graphs I previously created in Basic, and instead is requesting a license key for Pro. When I just close out of the the key request it won't open the NodeXL features, rather defaults to a regular Excel worksheet. Any one else having this issue or know of a resolve?
