I have noticed that when I create a network graph and then save the document, close, and re-open at a later time the changes I made to the graph itself (mostly moving the vertices around), do not save. I have to start the work over again to make the graph visually read-able. I also notice when I change label shape, etc. and refresh, the graph snaps back, vertices don't stay where I have previously dragged them. Is there a way to make sure that any manual changes made do not get lost when the document is closed or when changes are made in the input data? Thanks

One way to do that is to set NodeXL, Graph, Layout to "None." That will prevent NodeXL from moving your vertices when you refresh the graph.
