Thank you for the interest in NodeXL.
The book Analyzing social media networks with NodeXL: Insights from a connected world is not up to date with the most recent versions of NodeXL (the book was written with version .113 in mind, we are now shipping version .333).
One change in NodeXL has been to remove the ability to extract the Twitter "Follower" network. This was a response to changes in the Twitter API and access limits.
