Yes, within limits.
In the Import from Twitter Search Network dialog box, click the "Advanced search help" link and see the "since" and "until" operators on Twitter's "Using advanced search" page. For example, enter the following into NodeXL's "Add a vertex for each person..." textbox to get people who tweeted "NodeXL" from April 26 until (but not including) April 28:
Note that I tested this using version 1.0.1.238 of NodeXL, which includes some major Twitter changes. I have not tested it in earlier versions. Most earlier NodeXL versions will stop working with Twitter networks on May 7 anyway (http://nodexl.codeplex.com/discussions/437841), so I won't bother with that.

The limits are that Twitter will only provide tweets "between 6-9 days" old (that's from their website), and depending on the popularity of the term you specify, Twitter may provide only a sample of the tweets.Note that I tested this using version 1.0.1.238 of NodeXL, which includes some major Twitter changes.
