Hello!
Thanks for the continued interest in NodeXL.
Currently, NodeXL builds connections among all the authors of tweets collected in a query.
In some cases an author is replied to or mentioned but either they did not tweet or we did not observe the tweet in the query results.
In an upcoming release, we will include users who are mentioned or replied to even if we do not observe their tweet.
In our implementation we mark a tweet as a "mention" if another users @name is included in the tweet. We do not create a "RT" edge (although it is easy to make NodeXL, though Excel, do so).
Regards,
Marc
